Finchley Reform Synagogue

Finchley Reform Synagogue was designed by dMFK in collaboration with Webb Yates engineers on structure and services. The building will be the first zero carbon synagogue in the UK. Other parts of the building draw on dMFK experience in flexible workspace, creating a range of environments for learning, work, contemplation, and interaction which suit the needs of a modern, Reform community.

This new build contemporary Synagogue building for an established, reform community in North London aims to delicately balance the needs of worship, spirituality and its strong community function, with spaces requiring organization and flexibility significantly beyond the capacity of the existing poor quality buildings.

WyrdTree worked closely with dMFK in order to communicate the visual side for the main interior spaces of the Synagogue – the sanctuary and the foyer.
